New York Serenade Grand Piano

THE STORY

The New York Serenade is a definitive one-of-one masterpiece. An extraordinary fusion of fine art, heritage, and performance, it is a museum-caliber collectible that will never be replicated.

Originally crafted in 1917 by Steinway & Sons, this grand piano has been meticulously transformed over more than five years by master piano rebuilder Gene Korolev. Under the artistic direction and concept design of Katherine Banyasz, the instrument was re-imagined as a singular work of functional art, where design vision and craftsmanship converge at the highest level.

Inspired by the opulence of Fabergé and the golden age of New York jazz, every detail is executed entirely by hand. Over 170,000 diamond-cut zirconia stones are individually set beneath a flawless, glass-like finish, accompanied by a custom bench adorned with more than 7,500 gemstones.

The design captures the spirit of New York City through an Art Deco lens. A hand-crafted skyline rests beneath a luminous moon, sculptural legs echo the rise of skyscrapers, and shimmering details evoke iconic landmarks and the movement of the jazz era. Each visual element was thoughtfully composed to reflect both architectural grandeur and musical rhythm.

Beyond its visual brilliance, The New York Serenade delivers exceptional performance. A custom high-resolution Live-Performance LX player system, developed by Wayne Stanke, enables wireless performance with extraordinary realism, from the most delicate pianissimo to commanding fortissimo.

More than an instrument, The New York Serenade is a singular work of art. Entirely handcrafted, impossible to reproduce, and destined for a collector who values rarity, legacy, and uncompromising craftsmanship.

One in the universe.
